Are Use It All Tables made just to be outdoors?

Nope. They make great camping tables, but can also be used in your living room. In the typical household the coffee table is too far from the couch for ergonomic snacking and drinking. Adding a Use it All table has shown to reduce streaming fatigue by up to 38%.

What is the biggest enemy of the Use it All Table?

Dog tails. Excited big dogs are about as tall as the 24” Use it All Tables. One excited wag may result in an un-stable table. Otherwise these tables can support over 200lbs, and they fold flat, in case you have to get out in a hurry!

How long have you studied this idea?

This waste free table design was invented in 2003 but it took a few years to get it where it is today. Most of my friends have Use it All Tables, that they use for living rooms and camping trips. These are functional prototypes that have lasted for 10+ years.

How are the legs attached to the table top?

Great question! No little wrenches here! The initial designs employed a bungee cord to secure the legs to the top, in both the flat folded portion and full table deployment. This solution works but putting the table together can be challenging for those who are not excited about building furniture. The new quick fold tables, have the base hinged to the top, and require zero tools or talent. Just pick up the table and the base folds out. Insta-table!

Where are these tables made?

San Pablo California, north of Berkeley- in the Wedman Industries Studio. We use a CNC machine to cut out the tables, and add 3D printed brackets and perform the final assembly.

Why did my tables show up in a suitcase?

If you order 4 or more tables, we like to put them in a thrift store suitcase and use Lugless, a company that ships your luggage for you so the airline doesn’t get a chance to loose it. This is way better than a box, you can reuse the suitcase to send us whatever you’d like, or you can use it the next time you move, or you can screw it to the wall and make a zipper storage thing!

Can I make my own Use it All Table?

Yes! I encourage anyone who can cut a board to look into zero waste manufacturing! What if every high school wood shop started with this concept? (wait, do they still have wood shops in high school?) The idea is the world would be a better place if we made more things that don’t produce waste. If you are interested in making your own, I’d love to chat! Feel free to contact us!

What materials are your tables made from?

Why is this question way down here? Super important! For truly outdoor tables, I love using Richlite and aluminum, both hold up the elements. For value based tables, Baltic birch is lovely! These can go outside, just don’t leave them outside. For that wow! factor check out the walnut tables or the 3form tables!

Are you open to partnerships?

Does a bear wear a funny hat? Yes! totally into partnerships. If you work at Coleman and would like to offer this in your spring camping line-up, well let's do it! Heck I might even consider IKEA or REI, I love companies with initials! And if Baggu made a custom no-waste Use it All Table carry bag, I would feel like this was all worth it!

How long does it take to make a table?

Depending on the quantity we can get most orders out in 2-3 weeks. I do have a number of tables in stock, that will be offered on Etsy. These I can get to you like now now.

What is your warranty policy?

Did we screw up or did you? How could you? These are pretty fool proof tables, but damage occurs. So we offer a no questions asked 1 year warranty for all tables. We’d love to get the old table back for inspection, but typically we can get you a replacement quick! Or we can send the parts needed to get you back up and tabling!

Can you make a custom table with my custom top shape?

Yes! That would great! Typically these tops have 8 sides, as each of the 4 legs have 2 sides. If you understand that last sentence, you are hired! Start on Monday. But yea, if you have a shape in mind send it over, we’ll send you a digital mock-up to make sure your idea works!

My favorite color is blue.

Cool! Mine too! And yes we can make blue tables! Yellow, red and whatever color you’d like. Wallpaper table? yes! Astroturf table? yup!
